Hi everyone and welcome to your next chapter in your music education. I am so excited for you that you are looking at either beginning or furthering your musical journey which whoever you choose to help you accomplish your musical goals. Choosing a tutor can be quite daunting not only are they the ones to teach you what you need to know but they also inspire and give you many of your musical influences. A bit about my teaching style, it's based on expository and demonstrative styled teaching particularly at the younger levels, higher and older levels we tend to use a bit of construcivism with transcriptions, forming repertoire and implementing music theory into improvisation. I emphasise good technique as it helps us play comfortably without hurting ourselves. I encourage mistakes in lesson time as it helps us rectify them before performance. I wish you the very best of luck with whichever path you choose.
