I'm Basundhara Dutta, an Environmental Science graduate with 3+ years tutoring experience. Being a student from the first cohort experiencing the new curriculum will be an advantage for you as I can explain how the new syllabuses are structured and what examiners expect students to know well. I tutor in French (WACE oral mark of 90+), Chemistry, Biology and Applications (WACE exam mark of 90). I can also help students in Economics (11/12) and can tutor lower school subjects as well as primary school students. I've helped students with subjects in my high school cohort and many of them found it helpful as I can adjust my teaching method with how they understand concepts. I can also provide students with many other resources such as exam papers, notes and different exercises. I am available online only but flexible with times/sessions. Per hour, I charge $35 however, the first lesson is only $15! Group lessons are $30 per person.

English; Numeracy; Earth and Environmental Science; Information Processes and Technology; Aboriginal Studies; Modern History; NAPLAN Writing; NAPLAN Reading; NAPLAN Numeracy; Swimming
I think of the best teachers that I had in Primary School, and they are the ones who inspired me to become a teacher. Since then, I have learned so much more about how to be a fun teacher and teach children in the kinds of ways that they like learn. No snowflake is ever created exactly the same and in the same way, I don't believe that any child is created the same way. We all learn differently, we all have different intelligences - things that we are super good at, and things that we struggle a little more at. My job is to find out what you are good at first, how you like to learn, and then work on what you need to learn using the techniques that you have shown me help you to learn the best. I may look like a kind and friendly person :) and most of the time I am, but I've been teaching for a long time so I'm not a push over. I'm here to get a job done and help you to be the best you can be. I want you to be able to go to school filled with confidence because you know you'll rock it.

GOSNELLS WA 6110
I am passionate about helping children.
I have a positive 'can-do' attitude and am highly motivated. I am passionate about teaching children to reach their fullest potential and believe that with the right assistance they can do anything they put their minds to. In my work as a Special Needs Education Assistant, and throughout my degree I have worked with many different children, all with a variety of needs. I believe that, at times it is necessary to work with the students personal interests in mind, as this can be a great motivational tool and a way for children to relate content to context.
