During three years of Bachelor study, I have been a host in the Language Exchange Club at the University of Melbourne, where I teach foreign students Mandarin an hour per week (So that's why I cannot count the hours). In each session, I cooperate with the other two hosts (or the other host) and we inspire the students to learn some Chinese culture when we teach them. At the end of the classes each semester, we prepare some Chinese cuisines and bring them to our class and there's a thanksgiving party for the hosts. I will go on teaching in 2020.
During my years in senior high school, since I studied in an international high school in Guangzhou and I studied Economics, sometimes I taught some other students very basic economics.
Last year, which is 2019, I had the opportunity to teach kids playing the piano. In the mini-classes of mine, I taught them something about fingerings, and how they can convey the musicians' ideas and thoughts via playing the piano.
From 7th to 28th December 2019, I served as an English teacher in a high school in Guangzhou. During that time, I observed the students' reactions and atmosphere during various classes, answer students' questions after class, mark students' assignments, and their exam papers. I also took part in assessing other teachers' teaching quality.
