Teaching Experience for Soccer

I have over 20 years experience playing and coaching soccer. During this time, I have represented New South Wales at the Youth National Championships and played in State League clubs. I have coached multiple club and high school teams in varying ages from 10 to 17+.

Teaching Experience for Surfing

I have grown up on the beaches of the South Coast of NSW and have been surfing since I was 10 years old. After becoming a teacher I became qualified to teach groups of students how to surf. This involved teaching students about the basic technique of surfing, choosing and using appropriate surf craft, identifying features of the beach and surf ethics. My approach to teaching people to surf is to provide a safe and supportive environment and equipment to enable success and fun. From there, learners can gradually depend an independent approach to learning to surf.
