I have taught Abstract painting back in my city to school going students. The platform was in-person as well as online. The experience was very enriching since I was working fulltime as an Architect and this teaching fuelled my passion for painting. In my experience, all students have the capability to express through art. Art can be on paper, sculptural, in space, or even on a cloth. All that matters is the will and skill. I teach the skill to achieve results which make students better at expressing themselves and hopefully encourage and inspire them to paint with their heart.

Students came to me with interests in Abstract, landscape, and portraits in acrylic and watercolor mediums. They bring their own materials so that they can keep it with them. The teaching primarily involves theoretical and practical classes talking about history, examples, videos, and famous Artists. In the practical classes, they are taught how to draw some basic shapes and figures and humans and expressions. The practical class also involves painting techniques and applications. There are2 levels of classes- beginner and advanced. The students are recommended their level on the basis of their original art pieces drawn previously. Each class has up to 4 students at a time so that everybody can get my attention.

The sessions are very interactive and transparent. Before the enrolment, every student is suggested to attend a demo class of half an hour, where I can understand their expertise level and what they desire to achieve from this class. I will also be discussing about what I can offer and help them succeed in their goals. A lot of times, I get adults as well. Therefore there is also a special batch of people for over 30 years of age who want to explore painting and probably get involved as well.

I also like to hold events sometimes, like crash course workshops, free of cost, which is more interactive and informative.

I am an avid user of Google Sketchup in my field of work. I have taught Sketchup - basic level to high school students for their projects.
