Maths doesn't need to be daunting. I hear student's and parent's so often say 'I can't do maths' but research shows that everyone has the capacity to do well in maths. I live for those moments when my student's eye light up as they solve a problem by themselves or they realise there is a pattern to solving the madness. My background is in architecture and engineering. I finished my teaching degree in 2018 and have 1 year classroom teaching experience in Year 7, Year 9 Extension, Year 10 and Year 12 Mathematics. I may not have a lot of teaching experience, but I am passionate about helping you succeed and achieve. I can assist with Primary through to Secondary Mathematics. I do not teach Senior Specialist or Methods.

I can teach you basic to intermediate use of the program. I have used Adobe Photoshop to replicate, enhance and illustrate presentations for industrial and architectural designs. This includes creating photo montages, simple photo enhancing/editing and web-design concepts.

I have taught students from Year 7 to 12 how to use basic through to complex functions to create tables, write maths formulas, do budgets and multi-tabbed spreadsheet calculations. I use Excel regularly at home as well as in my accounts role for P&C.

I have used PowerPoint extensively in all my previous working professions (10 years). I can teach you simple through to complex functions of the program to meet all your presentation needs.

I have taught students and professionals how to use basic through to semi-complex functions in Word. I can teach you the basics such as fonts, format styles, inserting pictures and tables. I can also assist with specialised functions including layouts, print settings, thesaurus and spell checks, word counts, content pages and sections.

I have a Masters in Architecture and industry experience working for my-self and others. As such, I will able to assist you with your assignment/project needs. My knowledge of 3D Modelling software includes ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, SketchUp used for all stages from initial 'Design concept' through to 'As Constructed' documentation. Even If you just want to discuss and get feedback on one of your concepts I am happy to help or provide ideas for additional resources.

Before completing my Graduate Diploma in Education to become a teacher, I lived and taught English in Japan for two years. I engaged with students from 2 years of age up to 65 years and various abilities. I enjoy meeting new people and helping you reach your language goals. This might include watching movies without subtitles, having general conversations or improving your academic performance. I have assisted students in achieving Level 1 EIKEN scores (highest level of English proficiency) and I can offer support with written assignments and work, preparing for verbal oral presentations.
