Keryn is an enthusiastic teacher who has been teaching 'cello for many years to students of all ages and abilities. She has a Diploma of Arts in Music (Victorian College of the Arts), an Associate Diploma of Music, a Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) and has completed the Kodály Primary Teacher Training course Level 1.
As well as teaching at state and private schools, she teaches at her home in the picturesque Dandenong Ranges.
She is a member of the Victorian Music Teachers' Association, the Victorian Institute of Teaching and the Australian String Teachers' Association.
Keryn can help students prepare for AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) and past students have gone on to complete VCE 'cello and further study at university.
Keryn has many years experience playing in ensembles from small to large. In addition to playing for functions, she performs regularly with Melbourne Opera and Nicholas Chamber Orchestra.
