After completing Music ATAR in my final years of high school, I have decided to continue my music career as a Secondary Music Teacher. I am currently completing a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in music education at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
I am able to help with all areas of music theory including aural work and have experience in this field, working at my previous school in assisting year 7 students understand the difficult concepts associated with music.
I have been playing the French horn for 7 years and am currently studying French horn at University level at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts. I am a member of the Western Australian Youth Orchestra and play in many university orchestras.
I have experience in helping young students play to a high standard and have attended many masterclasses in which I have been able to help students better their performances.
I have been playing the flute for over 10 years and although I have since stopped taking lessons, I continue to play on a regular basis in my spare time.
I am able to help in assisting students to better their musical performances in the areas of performance psychology, technical work, presentation and musicality.
I have been performing classical music for over 12 years and am currently studying music at university level, at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
I am able to assist students in the areas of performance psychology, combating performance anxiety, presentation and projection, and technique.
I have played volleyball for over 6 years and have coached various high school teams for the past 4 years.
I am able to assist students in mastering the basic skills required to play volleyball and can assist in grasping different game play concepts.
I currently play for the ECU Chequers Volleyball Club as apart of the WAVL competition.
