I started playing basketball at the age of 5. My first year at a representative level was 2006, from here on in I developed into a QBL level starting point guard and shooter. Making my first National Championship in 2010 with some of Queensland's most experienced basketball WNBL coaches. With my many years of training and practice, I made my way to be the youngest player to make starting 5 for QBLs Cairns Dolphins team in 2012. I played and trained alongside Cayla Francis who now plays for Australia and Rohanee Cox. I am passionate about my basketball and have has a great experience coaching, training and playing the game at a high level.
During my basketball career, I was asked to play in a netball team for Cairns Tigers, whom I now play AFL for. As Netball is quite similar as basketball with agility and fitness levels, I was able to take out 2 years in 1st place recieveing special consideration and coaching awards. I trained and coached U14s netball and enjoyed teaching the younger grades.
English and writing has always been one of my stronger educational experiences. Since becoming a university student and studying primary healthcare practice, I have received HD and D's in my grading.
