Mathematics is a beautiful universal language which can be 'spoken' anywhere in the world. Whilst my future career lies in clinical medicine as a doctor, mathematics remains one of my greatest passions - hence why I have been tutoring high school and VCE mathematics for nearly five years!

Mathematics is all around us. Instead of just rote learning the course and then forgetting it after VCE, I can help you uncover the beauty behind mathematics. The advantage that I have as a mathematics tutor is that I will prepare you not only for VCE but also to be able to use those mathematics skills later in life.

I offer a comprehensive teaching experience for my students, breaking it down into two main goals: (1) Teaching the concepts and (2) practising, practising and more practising for the exam. My style of teaching is centred around the student and this is something that I am very passionate about.

My lessons typically comprise a mini quiz every session where we review major concepts. Next, my students and I consolidate concepts they find difficult from the textbook or other sources. We then practise the core curriculum by doing past VCAA exams as well as questions supplied by me.

My goal is to empower my students to the point where they not only understand specific concepts, but to a point where they learn how to learn. I think this is even more important than any single subject in VCE - it prepares one for life. As the saying goes:

"Give a Person a Fish, and You Feed Them for a Day. Teach Them To Fish, and You Feed Them for a Lifetime."

Throughout my studies, I always made sure that I was learning at least one language. It opens a whole new world of possibilities and understanding. Latin is one of the best languages to learn because not only will you uncover secrets of the past, but you are also able to learn new languages with it.

I offer Latin tutoring for Years 7-10 in which I strive to introduce new students to the language in a manner that will consolidate their interest to keep learning it.

Vocabulary, grammar, comprehension and translation will be our main focuses so that we can establish a foundation of knowledge on which new concepts can built upon in the later years of study.

My goal is to empower my students to the point where they not only understand specific concepts, but to a point where they learn how to learn more about the language.

Biology, in its purest sense, is the study of life. In the chaotic hustle and bustle during VCE, students may forget what implications the vast field of biology has in our everyday lives.

There are a lot of cool concepts in biology that I can't wait to pass down onto the next generation of students and help them understand those finicky details. Furthermore, we will practise exam-style questions a lot. Whilst knowing the concepts well is essential, so is doing a lot of practice exams and past exams.
