Teaching Experience for Modern History

I am a Master of Cultural Heritage student at Deakin University, after having successfully completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in History. During my time at university, I have consistently achieved Distinctions and High Distinctions, and participated in ACU's Arts Scholars Program in 2016/2017. I also completed 2.5 years of volunteer work as a Heritage Cataloguing Assistant, so I have unique real-life experiences in the field of History.

My approach to studying and teaching History is holistic. Whilst there is a focus on memorising the dates and facts required to achieve high study and exam scores, high importance is also placed upon learning the analytical and writing skills needed to truly succeed in History at any level.
