I have tutored ESL/EAL for about 3 years (Ignore the hours of teaching above, it is not accurate) now to a Korean lady and some other students before her. I would like more experience. I tutored with a relaxed approach and a friendly tone, making it fun for the student. A lot of time was spent with speaking and listening practice. Although we also worked on grammar, spelling, punctuation, reading and writing. I take my time to listen to each student and try to understand their needs for the English language. I am patient with them as I am also learning a language myself so I understand the struggles that language learners face.
